Matthew Iyiola, a fitness enthusiast is challenging people to move and get in shape with a 30-day fitness challenge on Facebook. Each day will consist of 10-minute exercise suggestions that target different aspects of physical fitness.

Matthew, who has a degree in physiotherapy and understands how beneficial physical activity can be, is encouraging people to get in better shape by doing short daily exercises.

He says: “You never really understand the health risks involved with sitting all day until the aftermath hits you. Back pain, low energy levels, and progressive weight gain are all potential effects. As a freelance copywriter, I’ve experienced this first-hand, and I also know how moving around can reverse the effects. I want to give people a way to maintain great health without compromising their career goals.”

Daily 10-minute exercise sessions can have a profound impact on mood, health, and general wellbeing. Over a week, they stack up to almost as much as the WHO-recommended 75 minutes of rigorous exercise.

The challenge will extend from the 1st to 30th May and will involve exercises focusing on various parts of fitness, including cardio, strength training, and flexibility. Each day’s routine will be shared via Facebook Live, and interested individuals must join the Facebook group by 31st April to get started.
